Is ChatGPT a Google Killer?

In the mid 90’s, i came in contact with one of the earliest chat bot of that time, called billy 2.0 version. I tried billy for a while and was impressed that it got more intelligent and gave better conversations as you interact more with it.

After a while, you could have a fairly good conversation with billy based on all you taught it.

Fast forward to 2022 and a software firm is ready to kick Google out of search engine space with a program known as ChatGPT.

It is rumoured that Microsoft has quickly seized the opportunity by investing millions of dollars in anticipation of seizing the search engine market from Google. Interesting times I tell you. – O’Kay Adedayo

ChatGPT is a chatbot launched by OpenAI in November 2022. It is built on top of OpenAI’s GPT-3 family of large language models, and is fine-tuned with both supervised and reinforcement learning techniques.
